This is a 1vs1 bboy contest where 16 of the world's best b-boys meet to determine who is the best in the world. B-boy battles have their roots in one vs one competition. Within the past 15 years, 1vs1 battles have become pushed to the background as crew competitions became more popular. Thus, Red Bull decided to make the Red Bull BC One Battle. It has started in 2004 and has been an annual event.
